The answer to the Federation’s problem was the Challenger 1000 portable public address system. This unit is ideal for audiences of up to 250 people; it is an all-in-one, self-contained unit incorporating an amplifier, a speaker, a CD player and up to two radio microphones. These can be lapel microphones, headsets, or hand held. In addition to the radio microphones, the Challenger system has the capacity to take two further cabled microphones as well as a line feed from laptops for presentations, an MP3 player, or any line level source for music replication.
The Challenger 1000 is mains powered but also has a pair of internal batteries that allow it to be used in an environment where power is unavailable. This makes it ideal for out door events, corporate functions, and weddings. It has a range of intelligent functions including Voice Priority which will fade background music when one of the microphones is switched on. Show Hire can also supply the Challenger system with an additional slave speaker.
The Challenger 1000, along with a wide variety of other sound systems and radio communication products, is available for hire or sale from Show Hire.
