Evening Entertainment
Wine Tour
Learn about the language of wine through the tricks of tasting and the art of blending wine.
As the guests arrive, they are formed into teams and then seated comfortably at tables that are laden with sparkling glasses, mineral waters and the initial selection of wines. The guests will learn about the history of wine (briefly!), tasting techniques and what to look out for when buying and ordering wine.
We will explore a wide variety of wines from regional table wines to fine classics, oaky Chardonnays to vibrant Syrahs. We will compare tastes, styles and prices, drawing particular attention to the differences between Old and New World wines.
Each team will then have the opportunity to mix and brand their very own unique blend, which they have to describe to the others using the full terminology and some powerfully descriptive phrases of their own. This will culminate in a short, fun competition, with prizes awarded to the best teams and the most promising individuals.
This event is fronted by a knowledgeable wine expert. For those who are driving, we can provide spittoons so they do not have to drink the wine.

Pub Games
Fantastic fun as guests try their hands at these favourite pub games. This event can be run on a 'have a go' basis or as a competition with teams/guests teams betting against each other using ‘company’ fun money. The team or guest with the most ‘cash’ wins the! Champagne prize.

Race Night
Brief Outline - All the thrills, excitement and atmosphere of a day at the races, captured on video and shown to your guests during dinner, when they will have the opportunity to place bets and win even more money. The excitement is electric as we supply only the best quality video horse racing. Before we show any races the compere will introduce the evening and explain the rule
Under Starters Orders - There are up to eight horses in each race, all you need to do is pick a number between one and eight. You can bet on one or more horses in each race. When you have made your selection you place your bet at the Tote desk.
They're off - Once all betting is finished a video is then chosen at random and shown. The excitement is electric as guests watch the race hoping that their horse will win. If you are holding a winning ticket at the end of the race your winnings will be collected from the Tote desk. The betting then reopens for the next race.
Timings - Racing can take between 1 and 2 hours and normally runs through dinner (we take bets and show races between courses). We would need at least 1 hour to set-up prior to the event. We can talk through exact timings on booking, but we will tailor the number of races to match your exact requirements, so that we finish on time for the after-dinner awards.

Company Themed Fun Money & Race Cards – Branded with your logo, a picture of a product or even the MD!!
Jockey Girls – Rather than guests betting at the Tote Desk we can provide additional Jockey Girls to take bets at the guest’s tables.
25ft Grandstand Backdrop – An impressive grandstand view measuring 25ft long by 10ft high.
10ft Racing Backdrops – We would typically have two of these, one either side of the projection screen.
Extra Champagne Prizes or Magnums - instead of a bottle to share each guest can have a bottle or magnum to take away.

Summary of a typical event
Teams or individuals each manage a portfolio of Company Shares, Gold and US Dollars. Shortly before the Trading Floor opens each syndicate receives a portfolio pack containing company background notes, rules and information, role badges and £30,000 in Fun Money. After a brief introduction, teams are given 10 minutes to digest information, discuss and plan their strategy. Share prices are displayed on a giant display board and are constantly updated for the ten companies which are floated in the game, as are prices for Gold and US$. Split second decisions need to be made to avoid potentially huge losses, the skill is deciding which shares to buy or sell and timing those transactions to maximise profit!
The game runs over 5 fictitious days of world events. The Finance Daily News is distributed at the start of each day and the Lunchtime Business News is shown each day on the TV or video screen. Beware of 'off the record' information gleaned on the Trading Floor - it may not be as hot as you think! Newsflashes are notified on our digital display system. As the close of business approaches on each 'day' last minute frantic trading takes place right up to the buzzer sounding. Friday is the last day of the 'week' and fortunes may change dramatically during the final trading periods. At the end of the final day of trading all Fun Money and share certificates are totalled with prizes awarded for the winners.
Inflatable Games
BOUNCY BOXING
A 12 foot square inflatable with netted sides to contain all the action. Participants wear gigantic foam filled boxing gloves and try to knock down their opponent while remaining standing themselves !
BUNGEE RUN
A 35ft long inflatable game where two contestants run as fast as they can to beat their opponent before a bungee rope harnessed to them pulls them back to the start. This now features a large overhead arch at the front so that the game will stand out in a crowd.
BUNGEE BASKETBALL
This new and exciting inflatable direct from the USA, features twin lanes as with the original game.
Two contestants run as fast as they can to thrown there Basketball into the inflatable net, before a bungee rope harnessed to them pulls them back to the start.
Gladiators
Based on the popular TV show contestants stand on raised padded podiums surrounded by an inflatable mattress, complete with a safe surrounding wall.
With helmets and Pugil sticks - Let the battle commence !
HUMAN TABLE FOOTBALL
This is a game of table football – but human sized ! With an inflatable pitch measuring 50’ x 25’ the game Is played by teams of up to five a side. Each player is harnessed to solid plastic poles that span the inflatables entire width, and attempt to score a goal by only moving sideways and not forwards and backwards.
INFLATABLE BEACH VOLLEYBALL
An enormous inflatable volley ball pitch that measures 50ft x 25ft and has a netted surround to contain all the action.
PULL THE OTHER ONE
This brightly coloured inflatable is 21ft long and 16ft wide.
The game comprises an inflatable bed with a 9ft tower in the centre. Contestants are harnessed to bungee cords that are passed through the tower, and as one player runs forward the other player is pulled back !
SUMO WRESTLING
Contestants wear giant padded Sumo suits & safety hats and attempt to push their opponent out of the ring. Three rounds decide the winner as the contestants grunt and groan their way to victory !
VELCRO FOOTBALL
A 25ft x 15ft inflatable bed with a 12ft high inflatable velcro wall.
The object of the game is to kick footballs past our goalie and score by sticking the footballs to the velcro wall.
