Show Hire supplies equestrian timing systems from EG Redesdale Limited the countries leading equestrian timing equipment supplier. You can view these products at http://www.egtiming.co.uk. We can supply either cabled or wire free timing sets for both hire and sale as well as public display boards to enable crowds to view the time of the round as it happens.
Our hire fleet consists of the C700 wireless sets. The C700 timer is designed for use with wire-free gates. It has the warm-up/countdown timer that is required for some competitions and times with an accuracy of one hundredth of a second. It is powered by an internal re-chargeable battery or can be connected to an external 12 volt battery or a mains supply using the adapter provided. This timer also provides timing for two-phase competitions.
The timing heads are the K531 wire-free head. This head uses a radio transmitter instead of a cable to connect to the timer. There are no cables to lay so changing the course is much simpler! There are two channels, enabling two rings to be used side by side. The radio signal uses special digital security coding to provide immunity from other radio devices. The receiver (which is in the timer) warns if other transmitters are in use, and also indicates if the batteries are running low.
The head is powered by internal rechargeable batteries which give 24 hours continuous use between charges. The range of the radio signal is 200 metres (line of sight). The maximum distance between head and reflector is 30 metres. The heads can also be connected to the timer by cable if required. One receiver (which is built into the C700 and C830 timers) and one charger are required for two heads (start and finish). Legal for use in Europe without a site licence.
The D510 and flap display allows crowds to see the time of the round as it happens. These displays show fluorescent yellow numbers making them attractive and highly visible even in bright sunlight. The digits are 10" high, easily viewable at 100 metres. Power is from a 12 volt battery or from the mains using an external adapter. The case is of welded steel making it very weather resistant, with a steel lid for protection during transportation. Mounting brackets are provided. D510 - Size: 1300mm x 350mm x 100mm. Weight 25kg
